All in one park

I'll confess we never had big success at getting the whole family on the same biking path at the same time. Maybe it's the 4-year gap between my son and his sister. Anyway, I can still point out a few paths, fun for beginner bikers, which I noticed when visiting parks and rivers. Cedarvale Park, a few minutes south of Eglinton West, is one of them. The northern part of the park offers a wide open valley where beginners will enjoy going up and down. Southbound, it leads to a pretty trail down the ravine with a lovely marsh and wildlife. The whole paved path is roughly 2 kms long. It is worth climbing up the staircase along the bridge you’ll see along the way to admire the view from above (and for a workout!). You can find parking spots on the streets bordering the park on both sides.
