Schedule / hours: 2017: Open daily from late August to labour day, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (gates close at 10 p.m. but the big midway closes at midnight on weekends). Usually closes earlier on Labour Day itself.
Admission price: 2017: Ground admission: $16/14-59 years, $12/seniors and children 5-13 years old, $48/family of 4. FREE ground admission for children 4 years and under. Attention: Rides NOT INCLUDED in admission fee. You either pay the extra Ride wristband cost of $38 at a Ride Booth on the site, or get a Ride All Day Pass including admission for $54/adults or $50/children or seniors. You can also buy 4 coupons for $5, 22 coupons for $22 and 55 coupons for $55 (min. 4 coupons per ride).

CNE 2017: August 18 to September 4
From the large rides located close to the Princes' Gate to the Kids' Midway, located on the site's opposite side by Dufferin Gates, the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE or The Ex) is indeed a children's paradise!
Most of the rides in the Kids' Midway are for children 42 inches or less. The midway closer to the Princes Gate is for bigger kids and adults, many requiring a minimum height of 48". Other activities for children usually include animals (expect dog performances), family shows, crafts, buskers, etc.ÂÂ This family event is a great way to ease the transition from summer time to... back to school. An eclectic assortment of music shows are presented on different stages.ÂÂ
