A castle in the area

Three thousand volunteers were involved in the planning and building of Jamie Bell Adventure Park within High Park. The masterpiece is shaped like a fortified castle. It occupies 10,000 sq. ft. A third of this area is dedicated to small children and is enclosed with a fence and there are a few picnic tables. The staircase in the section for the older kids gives a labyrinth-like impression. Last time we visited, kids were lining up to try the old-fashioned swing made out of a large tire.
