Volleyball, anyone?

West of the Donald D. Summerville outdoor pool, the beach widens a lot and the sand becomes finer. That's where Woodbine Beach begins. This is where you'll see volleyball games during the summer (I read on the Ashbridges Bay Beach Volleyball’s website that we are allowed to simply bring and install our net for free when courts are not used for league and tournament play). We have spent hours playing in the sand by the western point of this beach. It offers huge stones on which children love to leap about, a scenic lookout of the bay, and access to Ashbridge’s Bay Park's trails. When it's windy, you can get quite a show off that beach from daring kit surfers.
