Attractions & things to do for the kids in your life

River Grove Aquatics (Mississauga)

Family Tested
High energy

Lighten up!

Nature is so nicely framed by the glass wall and the whole architecture of the pool that one would think they are swimming inside the McMichael Canadian Art Collection building. Very high wooden ceiling, smooth arches and huge bay windows catch the daylight, beautifully filtered by tall trees. Quite a setting for a community pool! Kids just love the triple loop red slide ending in shallow water and the blue one in the deeper end. Most of the pool is actually shallow. Balls, floaters and life jackets are provided. A big whirlpool completes the experience. If you want, after your swim, you can explore the Culham Trail accessible from the backyard of the community centre.

After years of doing all kinds of outings with my children, I can assure you the secret to a perfect outing lies in the details, not the destination.
