Fall 2017: Open on weekend until November 5!!!
Brooks Farm deserves to be one of the first on your list of farm outings! This is where my kids had their first shot at a zip line: a suspended metal line going downhill, with sliding handles kids can hang from as they launch from a small platform. They had so much fun, the announcement of the cannon blast about to take place couldn't lure them away. This is also where we experienced our first pumpkin cannon blast, producing a strange muffled explosion as it shot pumpkins through the fields. Think of it, it is also where my youngest saw her first pig race, hilariously entertaining with the help of our farmer host showing us some ridiculous dance steps to encourage the pigs. It seems they've added duck races. I see great potential for more ridiculous dance steps!
