Who's the king?
Glancing at Casa Loma from the outside, there's no mistake in any kid's mind. This is a "real" castle. Weather permitting, you'll be allowed to climb up one of the towers, where you'll get a great view of the city. Another much appreciated "castle" feature is the 250-metre tunnel linking the castle to what used to be the stables, facing the gift shop in the lower level. Frankly, it isn't more exciting than a basement but kids find it fascinating so it is worth keeping that kind of thought to ourselves! The best time to admire Casa Loma is during the special events created for Christmas or the March Break. Activities organized throughout the site bring the many rooms alive: the beautiful marble-floor conservatory, the dark wood-panel library, the secret staircase in Sir Henry's office and more.
