First came the yellow umbrellas of HtO Park west of Harbourfront Centre. Now, there’s Canada’s Sugar Beach with its pink umbrellas and beach chair. granted, you can’t swim at this urban beach but it’s got white sand; it’s by the lake and there’s a spray pad. So kick off those sandals and run the soft sand through your toes as the kids frolic with the water. Then, you can enjoy the large waterfront promenade in front of the Corus building. It is paved with cobblestones baring a maple leaf pattern and lined with trees and designer benches.
