I've not seen the revamped museum yet. The place is small but they sure know how to maximize the use of space. Can't wait to see what kind of improvement they did! Over the years, I've seen how this museum is constantly reinventing itself, always changing the whole thing to keep it interesting for Hamilton's kids. To give you an idea of the kind of range of activities they're up to, last time I visited, past the Brain Room with a wall of pipes, the bins of blocks, the weaving board and the reading nook was the ingenious Doo Woop Diner room. In the Media Room, kids could dress-up in front of a green screen and act while watching themselves on a television. The visit usually lasts one hour so it is a good choice to combine with another local outing.
