War at peace

This unassuming museum (which changed its name in 2011 from Oshama Military and Industrial Museum) owns approximately 80 restored and working war vehicles, of which we can see some 30 in and around the site. Older kids will appreciate these and the displays of uniforms and weapons. In the last few years, they have reorganized the space around the time line of the origin and evolution of the militia (King Louis XIV ordered Frontenac to create the first "milice" in Canada in 1669), with a focus on all the generals up to today. Their “Tank Days” events (on the second Saturday of the months from May to october) is the best time to visit!
