Kids just love exploring natural wonders with nooks and crannies. High Falls is filled with these. All around the park, the ground is covered with big slabs of rock. Vegetation has tried to grow over and hold on to as much as it could with the help of really long running roots. First, we tried to get as close as possible to the thundering High Falls. The powerful white body of water was fascinating to my then 5-year-old little monkey. In some spots, we had to jump more than one metre down onto lower rocks, to get closer. We then explored the surrounding stream running into the woods. I know my son felt like a true pioneer, walking stick in hand.
