Many written sources described Tew's Falls as towering 41 metres. "Only a few metres short of Niagara Falls", they said. It was tall indeed when we visited but nobody had mentioned that it could be only one metre wide after a dry summer! I quickly checked it after a visit to Webster's Falls (reaching it by car without seeing the trails, so I don't know if they are suitable for children). I have seen more pictures of the falls when the water level was higher and they were indeed worth seeing. We'll need to go back in the spring. Next time, we will walk there from Webster’s Falls. We were told it is located a 20-minute walk away.
