A majestic gorge and powerful falls, plus the rainbow effect, the mist on our face and the gorgeous trail: I did not expect such a wholesome program! I'll just have to go with the usual clich?: This is the best-kept secret in the region. First go to the cobblestone bridge to get a good view from the top of the 79-foot-high falls. The beauty of the trail bordering the water is that it is at the water level and the river cascades and dances all along. We walked for 30 minutes and decided to head back, to maintain our kids' momentum to the end. There's a trail along the escarpment accessible from the parking lot. We also saw a sign leading to Tew's Falls. We were told it is located a 20-minute walk away.
