Etobicoke’s gem

There’s a white pedestrian bridge running across Mimico Creek by the parking lot (off Humber Bay Park West). cross it and walk straight for 10 minutes, along Waterfront Drive, and you’ll find the Humber Butterfly Habitat, with beautiful metal crows on top of poles (where birds had built their nest, last time we were there!). Just around the butterfly habitat, you can walk along decks crossing basins serving to filter storm waters. When we visited, it as inhabited by cranes, cormorants and ducks and there were big fish in the water. There’s much more to see all over this park. After three visits, I still feel I’ve missed a few spots.
