Monarch Park is a real treat awaiting you a 5-minute walk away south of Greenwood Subway Station. This luscious park goes up and down and is filled with mature trees. Its playground is great but the park's best feature is its outdoor pool with a twisting slide. As a bonus for little adventurers, you'll find a tunnel west past the pool. This is a very good opportunity to test for echo. Last summer, teenagers were painting art all over the concrete wall by its entrance.
