Berczy Park (Toronto)

European flair

Berczy Park is the official name of that little triangular patch set between Wellington and Front. There are many cool things about Berczy Park. First, there’s adjacent Flatiron Building with a great trompe-l'oeil mural on its wall facing the park. Then, there’s a pretty fountain which, added to the four-storey high brick buildings on Front Street makes you feel like you’re in some part of Paris, France. (And there’s a Winners nearby.) Note that there used to be a great gelato place by the park but it’s gone. Still, this is the perfect spot to chill.
