By the water?

You’ll find an entrance to the nature trail running through the ravine of David A. Balfour Park by the playground located in the back of the eastern part of Rosehill Reservoir. It is a real treat to go down this trail as you quickly see the ravine closing on you and soon forget about the city. From the upper ramp, you see a small bridge way down there. Were you to walk down that road, you'd reach the Don Valley Evergreen Brick Works roughly 3 kms away. We chose to follow the trail northbound (to our left). It lead us back to the northern park entrance in 10 minutes. On the way, we noticed a little waterfall (you have to look carefully down the ravine). Last summer I noticed that the wading pool near the playground was unfortunately not functional.
