At the foot of Mississauga Road lies J.C. Saddington Park. Kids will enjoy exploring the large boulders along Lake Ontario's shore. I was impressed by the large area with picnic tables one can reserve for a large family gathering by the lake. The park includes a cute stream not too far from a playground. When we visited, the pond was lively with ducks, geese and a fountain. Great willow trees were almost brushing the water. The eastern part of the park runs along the Credit River. We saw people fishing from the large rocks, under the watchful eye of a couple of swans. On Front Street, bordering the river, are located boats of companies selling fishing and cruise outings from spring to fall. The small and pretty J. J. Plaus Park lies across, on the east shore of the river.
