Pond in the hood

L'Amoreaux Park is adjacent to the L'Amoreaux Community Recreation Centre. It holds a treasure of small paved trails that border a vast pond. The cranes I saw resting along the edge of this pond seemed unaware that they were in the middle of a residential neighbourhood. Some of the paths lead to a small island of leafy trees. When we visited, it was circled by a wood chips covered trail (yet practical with a stroller) framed by more trees. You can travel the entire trail in 15 minutes, excluding the time to explore the wild flowers.
