Website: www.polsonpier.comNearby restaurants: • Polson Pier has a patio facing Toronto Islands and offering the best view of Toronto city line. Kids are allowed at the tables until 9 p.m.
While you are there: • Just a bit further down Cherry Road, you'll find a very big Asian grocery store, T & T Supermarket, quite exotic by our standards, with all kinds of products you don't see in regular stores and a big take-out buffet. I've always thought it would be nice to buy a take-out and go eat it at Cherry Beach two minutes down the road.

O Boy!
There’s lots of action to observe from Toronto’s largest waterfront patio: police boats, tall ships, ferries, with Toronto’s Islands as a backdrop on one side and the CN Tower by the lakeshore on the other. And it just got better, thanks to a partnership with O Boy! Burger Market (declared by some as the best burger and onion rings joint in Toronto). The 40,000 patio is the best place to sip a drink by the water (with or without alcohol... or kids). This entertainment centre includes a driving range (open year-round). It turns into a a drive-in theatre on weekends during the warmer nights. There’s a mini golf behind the driving range. It also hosts a go-kart track nearby.
