If our visit during the Anne of Green Gables event (not offered anymore) reflects the quality of all events organized at the Westfield Heritage Village, my family could easily become addicted to the place. We looked around and saw dozens of young Annes. Later on, we admired 45 of them, with genuine red hair or wigs and period dresses, as they were competing in a look-alike contest. I thought it was hilarious to watch a bunch of girls sporting straw hats and red hair, compete in a tug-of-war game. My son spent 30 minutes learning to walk on tin cans in the game zone. My daughter shook it up by the bandstand, dancing to the fiddle, until a parade of antique cars started around the place. We visited the 33 buildings on the premises. My daughter even got to explore the inside of a coffin exhibited at the workshop door.
