Not for couch potatoes

This sandy beach is 360 metres long. Its swimming area used to be chlorinated but they’ve put away the fabric shield separating the swimming area from the lake. Never deeper than 5 feet, it is perfect for parents to toss their ecstatic kids like potato sacks into the lake. You can rent large inner tubes (to play inside the boundaries) or rent paddle boats, row boats, kayaks and canoes to explore the rest of the lake. One of the trails in the park runs 5.6 kms around the lake. And, attention fishermen! Christie Lake Conservation Area includes 9 ponds and they sell bait. Note that Pond 8 is stroller accessible.
