Ocean view
When you walk off the Centre Island ferry, 10 minutes past the Centreville Amusement Park and the splash pads, you access Gibraltar Beach. From the wide deck high over the lake, it felt to me like we were by the ocean. The viewing telescope added to the illusion. In the snack bar section, you'll find the Toronto Island Bike Rental renting regular bikes and those 4-seaters we see along the paved trails. Walk approximately 15 minutes eastbound along the boardwalk and you'll reach intimate Ward's Beach.
