Birdseye Aquatic Facility at Port Perry (Port Perry)

Pool on the side

When we attended the Port Perry Fair, we took a break in the middle of the day to take a swim (and later went back to the fair, admission being valid for the whole day). Our first intention was to swim at Palmer Beach by Water Street in Port Perry itself. We had liked it a few years ago, with the playground right next to the beach but the water had been declared unfit for swimming (they’ve built a splash pad on that beach since, which has had some structural problems that should be solved by now). I was thrilled to find a public outdoor pool in Birdseye Aquatic Facility, by the water, past the Port Perry Marina. It was small, but it was heated and includes a structure spraying the kids.
