A mere 300 metres down that road, you’ll find the decadent Summerhill Market. This store offers a huge variety of prepared food options (from pre-cut veggies to fancy sandwiches to Boeuf Bourgignon), bakery, goodies and a vast selection of items I never see in my regular grocery store.

Great access point
Chorley Park is beautiful. This is the park where you want to lie on the grass under the shadow of a luscious tree (the park is filled with them). It is also my favourite way to access the Don Valley Evergreen Brick Works! You can go down a steep trail by the benches (in the northern part of the park) or down the stairs off the southern part (where you’ll find an upraised platform surrounded by black iron fences). It will get you in 5 minutes to the Brick Works.
