Oakville Santa Claus Parade (Oakville)

On my wish list of places to visit

In 2014: Saturday November 15 at 9 a.m.

I've not seen this Santa Claus Parade but Oakville's downtown along Lakeshore Road has lots of character. I believe it is a perfect setting for a local Santa Claus parade. If you're new to this whole parade thing, this is a good option to get in the Christmas spirit while attending with younger kids. They usually get 50,000 visitors. The parade is approximately one-hour long (2.3 kms). It starts at Lakeshore Road and Reynolds Street, goes westbound on lakeshore, over the Sixteen Miles Creek, then north on kerr and west on Stewart Street. There's plenty of viewing spots along Lakeshore and Kerr.

The organizers suggest you park your car at the Oakville Go Station and take Santa's Shuttle to the parade.
