Neighbourhood party

The Pumpkinfest Parade is a charming collective effort of the residents and the local business community. Families and friends line up their lawn chairs (many local private parties are going on!). Kids drink hot chocolate from little sidewalk stands. After the parade, we admired some Victorian beauties on Main Street, many decorated for Halloween, before reaching the central place with pumpkin tower and small midway. The Pumpkin Express tractors took us to the many other attractions offered during this event along their circuit: "scary" haunted house, indoor inflated bouncing structures, outdoor stage and many more activities at nearby Van-Go Adventure Farm. As a bonus, Waterford's countryside is a great place to admire the fall colours.
