Dyment's Farm keeps you so busy, you tend to forget you came to pick a pumpkin in the first place. I strongly recommend this unique and delightful farm located in the Hamilton area. This is a wonderful opportunity to view the colourful landscapes of fall as you head towards the Niagara escarpment. We loved the table filled with replicas to scale of farm machines, the Spook Hut with cute light and sound effects, the Corn Bin filled with 10,000 yellow balls and the circuit to do bouncing ball races. They also have a funny interactive exhibit. The tractor trail bordering the Niagara escarpment provided the most enjoyable farm ride I can remember. Since our last visit, they've added a tall climber made out of ropes and a zip line.

After years of doing all kinds of outings with my children, I can assure you the secret to a perfect outing lies in the details, not the destination.
