How can it not be pure family fun when the members of the family involved in the creation of this great attraction are obviously enjoying themselves so much! The Walker family, three generations of them all costumed and staying in character, push the Hillbilly theme as much as can be. Parents laugh out loud at the double meaning of Flo Gently (the host of an "educational" show strangely resembling Robin Williams in his famous role as the nanny Mrs. Doubtfire) while the kids are thrilled by the animals "she" brings in with the help of a funny ranger with his own agenda. They offer a corn maze, haunted hay ride, pumpkin picking, animal pens, play barn, even goat walk and pig racing that I've seen in other farms. Many other features, I have never seen in a farm: singing hillbillies, authentic working outhouses, stilt walking, gold digging, silo climbing, music pumped through speakers all over the place. The list goes on. And to top it all off, a picture perfect setting for a farm with entrance off a lovely country road leading to a spacious valley surrounded by a forest.
