Riverdale Farm gets really lively during the Fall Harvest Festival. Not only do they offer a wide range of activities within the farm's gates but the Cabbagetown Arts & Craft Sale takes place in adjacent Riverdale Park. Last time we attended, the fall festival included line dancing, chicken call contest (my son got the second-best ribbon!), antique farm tools display, potato-sack race, horseshoe pitch, storytelling and more. We even got to watch a cute play in the small Necropolis Chapel just north of the farm.
