NEW LOCATION! The 2017 Mississauga Santa Claus Parade is on Sunday, December 3 at 12:30 p.m.
This parade used to be in Streetsville, the lovely old part of Mississauga with a country feeling. In 2017, it has been moved to a whole different part of town, packed with car dealers! (See details in this article.) Many locals are truly saddened by this break in tradition. We will need a few years to see how the new location can be put to good use (there's lots of space!). In partnership with the Erin Mills Auto Centre with a new route more than a kilometre in length, the parade will include about 40 floats, marchers, bands and groups participating. The parade will start on Glen Erin Drive and make its way along Motorway Boulevard before coming to a stop on Woodchester Drive. Outside of the parade, there will be costumed characters, jugglers and other entertainment.
