Lovely setting
This rink, set in the heart of Evergreen Brick Works, is not managed by Toronto City. It was created within the walls of an old building (without a roof) and offers a lovely layout with little mounds one skates around. You access it through the Young Welcome Centre, past the gorgeous wall sculpture of Toronto's watershed. There's a changing space, they offer skate rentals and sharpening services. On the weekends, there are cool family activities offered in the Children's Garden section by the tall chimney, from 10 am to 4 p.m. Note that the Farmers Market goes on every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. so the parking lot gets quite full during that time.ÂÂ
