You'll probably be welcomed by the strident "Hello" of a parrot when you arrive at Jungle Cat World. Chances are your kids will see the "baby" of the moment in a cage past the zoo entrance. Last year, it was the cuddliest baby tiger. Years ago, it was a German Shepherd pup and a lion cub cohabiting like the best of friends. In more recent years, my family saw a young leopard gnawing his stuffed teddy. Intimacy is the operative word in this privately owned accredited zoo. Expect all kinds of felines, otters, very lively monkeys, free-roaming goats you can feed and a lookout tower to look into the wolf and tiger enclosures.
