On my wish list of places to visit
The inspiring Open Clay Studio caught my attention when I visited the lower level of the Gardiner Museum. It offers a drop-in activity (for an extra fee in addition to admission) which would be nice to do with an older and artsy kid (or a girlfriend!). You get to create your piece from scratch instead of simply painting a pre-fabricated piece as you do in the usual ceramic studios. (Note that the Family Day activities offered on Sundays are included with admission and usually take place in the lobby.)
