Famous People Players offers a dinner-theatre experience for the whole family, with a twist. Chances are the white-gloved waiter serving your delicious meal in the dining room will also be performing on stage that evening. You won't find this out though until all performers remove their black hoods for the closing salute. Performers remain unseen because they are dressed in black against a black backdrop. They manipulate various humorous fluorescent props and tall puppets that seem to float around with a life of their own (due to the use of black light), lip-syncing to original musical scores. Parents will be moved when they learn this company's mandate: To present world-class productions and integrate, through training, people who are developmentally challenged. Between the reception, the cooking (great food by the way!), the serving and the performing, these people run the whole show.
