For one day, over 185,000 book lovers of all ages take over the street to enjoy this great fall event. The Word On The Street used to be around the ROM. Its new setting since 2015 in Harbourfront Centre on the Toronto waterfront should be perfect. Visitors will be able to sit by the water, already involved in the reading of a book they just bought. You can expect some bargains or freebies from many of the numerous exhibitors under tents or even meet the authors. There's a large section for children, where you may see popular characters roaming the place and favourite television hosts on a stage. The new location allows for a different formula, including some indoor booths. Can't wait to see what they'll do with the space.
