Baby-friendly Theatres

No more cabin fever

When I was on maternity leave, I would sneak into matinee screenings with my baby. Sometimes, I would be lucky and he would sleep through the whole presentation. Other times, I had to leave the theatre with a screaming baby (both of us red in the face for different reasons). But that was before a trend initiated by Movies for Mommies that would fulfill the needs of a forever-grateful niche: movie buffs with babies. This crowd won't mind if you have to get up. It won't mind cooing babies or breastfeeding. We're all in this together. Another real advantage with this baby-friendly concept is the fact that they reduce the level of decibels during these presentations. You can bring toddler siblings if you feel they can sit through a movie but bear in mind that most films screened are meant for adults! Bring on the popcorn!
