Look up!
The best place to understand the Imax technology (using films three times larger than regular films) is the Omnimax Theatre at the Ontario Science Centre located under the noticeable dome. In the back of the Science Centre's lobby, you'll find large bay windows overlooking the impressive Imax projection room. This Imax theatre is also the only place screening a 15-minute presentation before the movies, an attraction in itself! It allows us to see the apparently solid dome disappear over our heads to reveal the 44 speakers. Sound effects will make you think an airplane is taking off right in front of you. Visual effects will make your kids throw their arms in a Superman fashion to "fly" through the universe in a tunnel of light.
