Canadian International Military Tattoo (Hamilton)

Indoor

On my wish list of places to visit

No, it's not a festival about tattoos and piercing! This event is all about majestic military marching bands. Tattoo would come from a 17th century Dutch expression "doe den tap toe" meaning "turn off the taps", which was a call shouted by drummers marching through the streets at the end of the night to order soldiers in the taverns back to their quarters. The Canadian International Military Tattoo is in its 18th year.
