Art Walk of Tree Sculptures in Orangeville (Orangeville)

Stroller

When I first downloaded the Art Walk of Tree Sculpture brochure from Orangeville’s website, I saw that it featured over 40 sculptures created out of tree trunks. It now includes 58! (You hear that, Toronto?) That was enough to intrigue me. Brochure in hand, we went to check it out and had fun spying the sculptures scattered around downtown Orangeville. As a bonus, we got to admire a few gorgeous Victorian houses. This is a cool destination in the fall, to admire the fall colours around Belfountain. (TIPS: Art Walk of Tree Sculpture is a 20-minute drive south on the way back to Toronto from Primrose Trout Farm. Another fun combo! If you intend to combine the art walk with the fishing outing, make sure you bring a cooler to keep your fish fresh!)

After years of doing all kinds of outings with my children, I can assure you the secret to a perfect outing lies in the details, not the destination.
