Duck!

I know a dad who created a magic moment for his two sons (4 and 6 years old) when he took them to their first baseball game at the Rogers Centre. He made them bring their little baseball gloves, just in case, you know. When their dad shouted: It's coming! they never doubted the authenticity of the ball as he picked up a brand new ball (that he had bought for the occasion) off the floor. It was the best day of their young lives. Talk about male bonding! My own son didn't know anything about baseball but he was into buildings, models and how things work. Our first glimpse into the huge stadium (50,600 seats during a baseball game) was impressive. I took him on a Rogers Tour Experience. As we waited for the tour, we were shown a 2-minute clip fast-forwarding two years of building the Skydome. We saw a small model of the building, and a giant baseball bat. My son loved visiting the Hall of Fame box with its trophies and photos of the Blue Jays as they were winning the World Series.
