If you park near the Canadian Tire (hint, hint) at the corner of Lake Shore Blvd. and Leslie Street, it takes less than 15 minutes by bike along the paved path bordering Lake Shore to reach Ashbridges Bay Park. (Or you can park in the public parking lots by the park.) Keep to your right on the trail you'll find at the foot of Coxwell Avenue and you'll soon reach the boardwalk and the boulders by Woodbine Beach. Past this section, the path turns into a sinuous loop that goes up and down, surrounded by the bay and the lake. A real adventure for young bikers. It only takes 15 minutes to bike around the loop but you'll want to stop at the tip of the peninsula to take in the view of the lake. You can even access a pebble beach through the shrubbery. On your way back on the loop, you can take the right branch of the fork leading you to the Beach biking path along the water, for an extra 30-minute return stroll.
