Cherry Beach has plenty of free parking space (except during the hottest weekends of the summer) and it offers direct access to the bicycle trail leading towards Leslie Spit some 10 minutes away (the best and least-crowded ride along the water). It is our favourite way to get there. Note that there used to be a narrow sidewalk on a bridge along the way, which we were never able to convince our 5-year-old girl to cross! It has been replaced by a wider path which got her stamp of approval.
