Take a turn

The bike ride from the Boardwalk Pub's parking lot (near Ashbridges Bay Park) to the eastern end of the Beach paved path takes approximately 15 minutes. It starts with a wide-open view of the Woodbine Beach (and volleyball games during the summer). Along the way, you might catch a glimpse of parasurfers in action, or of rogue rock sculptures created by improvised artists. Ride east for 10 minutes to reach a loop amidst mature trees offering nice shade in the summer. There's a snack bar in this section and a playground further east. Past this, you get to see the backyards of impressive houses. There's also a playground near the Boardwalk Pub and another one adjacent to the Donald D. Summerville outdoor pool.
