Zen skating
If you have no business around Ryerson University, chances are you don't know about the large boulders and the reflecting pond in Devonian Square, just off Yonge-Dundas Square. This gorgeous pond, lovely in the fall, turns into a small skating rink in the winter (no skate rental). Urban setting doesn't get prettier. Kids will absolutely want to climb on the rocks. There's a refrigeration system but if weather gets too warm, it has to close early, as it did in 2016 (when it closed end of February 28).
