Glen Eden Snow Tubing (Milton)

Family Tested
High energy

Start here

I wish I had started with this one instead of getting my initiation with my 6-years-old at Snow Valley. Glen Eden Snow Tubing is one of the closest tube parks to Toronto, and probably the one with the mildest slopes. Not that you could not gain some speed on these slopes if you chose. On a good night, the staff has seen people flying by at 80 km/h on radar! The tube park located in the heart of Kelso Conservation Area includes 4 chutes and one tow lift. I thought the slopes a bit lame when I first saw them, but the ride down was quite fast. I was getting concerned by the acceleration that was building as we got really close to the end of the run when black rubber patches abruptly slowed us down. With younger kids, I recommend this park during day time when warmer temperatures create more friction under the tube. Older kids know to visit the place in the evening, when the weather gets colder and the chutes get icier. Kids need to be a minimum of 42 inches tall to ride. Only one person per tube is allowed but you can hold another rider's tube handles to ride down in twos or threes.
