Tobogganing at Christie Pits Park

By the subway

Directly off Christie Subway Station, Christie Pits Park features a rink. When I visited, snow was pretty much gone on the steepest slope next to the rink, but I could still see the toboggan tracks. This hill must be a serious thrill for big kids, but beware of the poles 15 metres apart at the bottom. This is not where most people go. Rather, they use the wide slope near the corner of Bloor and Crawford. The youngsters go down a gentler slope in front of the playground.
