Toronto's village of murals
These murals are like chips! Once you've seen one, you've got to see them all. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk from the first mural at Dundas Street West and Islington Blvd to the last, one kilometre further west at 5126 Dundas Street West. The first artwork was created in 2004 but they seriously started in 2007 and have been adding murals ever since, most of them from amazing Toronto-based artist John Kuna (who graduated from OCAD in 1997). With kids, this walk will turn into a treasure hunt expedition, especially if you don't tell them where to find the murals! Note that you can download a map of the murals on Village of Islington's website.
