The Velveteen Rabbit was the most popular of Margery Williams children’s books, and focuses on the importance of friendship, love and the discovery of what is real. Dancers bring to life this renowned story of a boy and his love for a stuffed rabbit which eventually comes to life. Choreographer Kathleen Rea has created a fairytale work which she hopes will teach children that it is what’s on the inside of you that matters the most.

Are you involved with your school council?

Did you know that The Velveteen Rabbit can come to your school? Ballet Jörgen brings the show (decor, costumes and all) and your school doesn't need to pay to bus the students to a venue. Visit the Dance section of prologue.org for information or call Prologue to the Performing Arts at 416-591-9092.
