Top to bottom

You'll add to your enjoyment of the stunning Scarborough Bluffs (which can reach 60 metres in height) if you explore it from top to bottom in one visit. Scarborough Heights Park offers the best way to do that. It is located just west of Rosetta Gardens. As you get closer to the edge of this park, the gorgeous view of the lake emerges. Then, walk back to the street and towards Rosetta Gardens to reach a closed road accessible from a small opening in the gate. When we visited, the paved road faded into a hard pressed dirt road following the shore and bordered by huge boulders. We walked for 10 minutes and got a superb view of the white cliffs, the best I have seen so far, completely surreal so close to Toronto. Make sure your kids keep some energy to go up the slope on your way back!
